The Baltimore Steam Packet / Old Bay Line Anniversary pattern plate has been reproduced. The authentic and false plates are very similar top-side. The telltale sign is that the reproduction plates were made by Woodmere, while the authentic plates were made by Scammells. There are supposedly 10,000 of these "exclusive" repros - always check the back before buying. Woodmere started producing china at least a decade AFTER the Baltimore Steam Packet Company went out of business.
